We recommend our Innotek Zones Instant Pet Barrier Indoor Wireless Pet Fence for
any dog that is 5 pounds or over. The Innotek Indoor Zone is used to keep pets out of certain areas in
your house. The round disc-shaped transmitter runs on (3) AA batteries (not
included) which are readily available at retail outlets and have a running life
of about 6 months. The receiver is powered by (2) 3 volt lithium batteries (part
# CR2032) (included) which are also readily available at retail outlets or may
be ordered at the top of this page. Please find the third drop-down
menu selection box at the top of this page (under Buy Now!) and make the
selection which corresponds with the number of additional 3-Volt Lithium
Batteries (2-Packs) you will need and then click 'Add to Cart' so you will
have extras on hand when you need them. There will be no additional charge for
shipping of any number of extra batteries or indoor transmitters as long as they
are shipped together with one of our fence systems.*
Our batteries are
model # RFA-35 and are the equivalent of part # CR2032. Please note that these
batteries are for the collar/receiver only. The AA batteries which power the
transmitter need to be purchased from a retail outlet.
Simply place the Innotek transmitter where you
don't want your pet to go and turn it on. The transmitter will broadcast a
celebrity FM radio frequency in the range you set it to. Your pet will wear a
collar that will deliver a mild correction when the receiver on the collar comes
into this signal range. When your pet first enters this range, he or she will
receive an audible tone followed by mild stimulation that will increase the
closer he or she gets to the transmitter thus detouring your pet from certain
Zones inside your house. The Zone is the newest form of indoor pet fencing by
Innotek.
These New Innotek Wireless
Transmitters can be put anywhere - in a plant, next to the front door, hanging
on a wall or in the coffee table drawer. Whether it is hanging, standing or
laying, your pet will not be able to dig in your plants, run out the front door
when guests arrive or beg for food at the dinner table. No training and No
installation required. Simply place the small transmitter in the areas you don't
want your pet to get into, put the collar on him or her and watch as he or she
stays away from the Zoned areas.
Put an Innotek
Zone near anything you want your dog to avoid - the trash, kitchen counter,
dining room table, baby's crib or your fine furniture. Simply select the
area, set the Zone’s protection coverage area between 2’ and 12’ in diameter,
fit Innotek’s exclusive comfort collar to your pet and enjoy your pet free zone!
Your pet’s collar will work with multiple zones so you can cover problem areas
in your home.
Control your pet inside your home with our simple
to operate system designed to keep pets away from designated areas specified by
the user. This system can be used to keep your pet away from a certain room,
away from a sofa, table top, etc. by simply placing the transmitter near the
doorway or under the sofa. Although the transmitter is designed for indoor use,
it can be used in a garage or under a covered patio.
Just place the
small, disk-shaped transmitter (about the size of a Frisbee) near the area you
want to protect. The transmitter emits a radio signal which is picked up by the
lightweight receiver worn on your pet's collar. The range adjustment dial
determines the distance from the boundary that the receiver will pick up the
signal. The range is adjustable up to 6 feet in each direction from the disk
depending on the surface the transmitter is on. The correction field can be
visualized as a globe. The signal will radiate in every direction from the
transmitter.
Adjusting the dial will increase the signal range. When your
pet gets near the signal, a warning beep sounds on the receiver worn on your
pet's collar. Your pet responds to the transmitter’s stimulation through 2
contact points on the receiver collar that touch your pet’s neck. If your pet
continues to approach the protected area, he or she receives a mild static
correction which is startling but not harmful.
Each Zones
Transmitter can be set for a different range from as little as a 2 foot to up to
a 12 foot diameter. The radio signal will also travel through walls. Please note
that metal construction may amplify or absorb the electronic signal so the
transmitter should be placed 6 to 10 feet from metal walls or poles.
You
can set up as many separate protected areas as you need in separate parts of
your home. All you will need is one of our Zones Transmitters for each
area to be protected. The same Zones Receivers are compatible with each of our
Zones Transmitters no matter if your pets run from one protected area on
one side of your house to another on the other side or on a different level.

Absolutely love
this unit. I've been searching for a couple of years for a way to keep my Rott
from getting into everything when I'm gone. I just happened to see this in
passing in a store and thought I would give it a try. Some days I leave it off
just to test him and he won't even go near the area with the unit in
it.

I agree with the first reviewer; the system
works great...I have one "planted" inside of my cat condo... dog gets too near
the cat area, he knows it. Yes, we absolutely need a cat-packable transmitter,
so when the dog chases the cat, the dog gets zapped... this could be a major
breakthrough product... cats and dogs living in harmony!

I purchased the two collar unit to keep my Lab and Shepherd away
from our new furniture; this product is one of the best investments I ever made;
show them where their boundaries are and the next time the collar beeper goes

I have an older dog, 8 years, that really started acting up when we
moved into a new home. He tore up the carpet in two rooms, urinated in two rooms
constantly, and dug out of our yard for months, tearing up the fence in the
process. I ran across Innotek, by accident in a local discount store and, being
at my wit's end, decided to purchase it and try it. Well, it worked like
magic!!!!!! The dog is not getting on the furniture, does not urinate on the
furniture and is not digging out, since I placed one of the disks near the
fence!!!! I am here to say, "They really work!!!"

This is
a great training aid. I recently adopted a dog from the pound whose previous
owner obviously allowed her on the furniture. She was always jumping up onto the
furniture and driving me crazy. I purchased a Zone system and set it up on the
couch. She jumped up twice then jumped right back off. She hasn't been on the
couch since. After a week I removed the zone and she still won't get on the
couch. I do wish you could fine tune the range a bit more but still a great
product.

Hi.. I'm Willow and I'm a young lab
of 1. Mom and Dad were having a hard time keeping me out of trouble when they
heard from a relative how great the Zones were. NOW we have 11 of them in our
house!! Don't worry, I still have plenty of places in which to roam. I still get
into mischief, but not as often as I have also taught Mom and Dad how to pick up
after themselves. The Zones has been great as it has given me more independent
freedom in my house. Mom and Dad have a little more confidence in me (or maybe
its the Zones) to allow me to roam within the house and not have to constantly
stop what they're doing to check on me. With the Zones and Ceasar Millan the Dog
Whisper Disciplined walks (Mom calls them Whisper Walks), I am on my way to a
becoming a well-rounded member of the family. Yah..

My super dog Lady had not one problem
when I rescued her from the Austrailian Shepard Rescue. In fact she came
trained, as she had forstered with a dog trainer for 3 months before we got her.
UNFORTUNATELY she developed the need to go tingle tingle on our only carpeted
area in the house. I replaced the carpet twice for about $3000.00 total. I was
at my wit's end when I finally discovered your AWESOME prodouct . It took Lady
about two or three trips into our family room before she understood the special
message from your product. She contiues to ignore the area with or without the

I'm a dog with a
habit of going where I'm not supposed to! But one day, my owner brought along
this stange little disk-shaped object that looked a little like a smoke alarm.
And then I had a strange collar attatched to my neck. The next morning, I
trotted out of the kitchen (which is the only place inside that I'm allowed in),
but I felt a rather strange tingle coming from my new collar. I continued on,
but it grew stronger, so with my tail between my legs, I headed back towards the
kitchen. Then my owner came, and for some reason she was very happy with me. The
next day, I trotted out of the kitchen, as per usual, and then I felt a strange
sensation, and a feeling of deja vu. Where had I felt this tingling before? And
then it clicked. It was yestoday! I quickly went back into the kitchen, and the
feeling stopped. I wouldn't be heading out of the kitchen in a hurry! As a
matter of fact, I never did again.

Our pug got
through the zone 2 times before learning that the correction was not pleasant to
him. He now stays happily in the area we want and we no longer have baby gates
