home with our PetSafe Indoor Wireless Pet Fence. The Indoor Wireless Pet
Fence is a simple to operate system designed to keep pets away from designated
areas specified by the user. This system can be used to keep your pet away from
a certain room, away from a sofa, table top, etc. by simply placing the
transmitter near the doorway or under the sofa or wherever. Although the
transmitter is designed for indoor use, it can be used in a garage or under a
covered patio where a 110 outlet is accessible.
Just place the
small, disk-shaped transmitter (about the size of a Frisbee) near the area you
want to protect. The transmitter plugs into a standard outlet and emits a radio
signal which is picked up by the lightweight receiver worn on your pet's collar.
The range adjustment dial (also ON/OFF switch)
determines the distance from the boundary that the receiver will pick up the
signal. The range is adjustable from 2 feet to over 10 feet in each direction
from the disk depending on the surface the transmitter is on. Adjusting the dial
to the right will increase the signal range. When your pet gets near the signal, a warning beep sounds
on the receiver worn on your pet's collar. Your pet responds to
the transmitter’s stimulation through 2 contact points on the receiver collar
that touch your pet’s neck. If your
pet continues to approach the protected area, he or she receives a mild static
correction which is startling but not harmful.
Each PetSafe Indoor Wireless Pet
Fence Transmitter is good for as many pets as you
have. You will just need an extra receiver for each additional pet. You can
contain an unlimited number of pets with this fence system as long as each has
his/her own collar/receiver.
You can set up as many
separate protected areas as you need in separate parts of your home. All you
will need is one of our IRF-100M Indoor Pet Fence Transmitters for each
area to be protected. The same collar/receivers are compatible with each
IRF-100M Indoor Pet Fence Transmitter (as well as with our outdoor Pet
Fence Transmitters) no matter if your pets run from one protected area on one
side of your house to another on the other side or on a different level or even
outside of the house for that matter if you have one of our outdoor Pet Fence systems in
place.
Each
IRF-100M Indoor Pet Fence Transmitter can be set for a different range from
as little as a 2 foot radius (which equals a 4 foot diameter) to up to a 10 foot
radius (which equals a 20 foot diameter). The radio signal will also travel
through walls including brick.

Only our transmitter can activate the receiver. Other brands' receivers can be
activated by televisions, cordless phones, garage door openers, etc. We use
filters and coded signals to prevent this. Don't trust your pet's safety to
anything but a PetSafeâ„¢ Containment System. Our receiver is Fail-Safe. If your
pet gets trapped in the correction zone, the receiver will shut down after 20
seconds to prevent overcorrection. The only UL and CE rated system on the
market.

Should You Get?
If your dog is over 30 pounds and is extremely
stubborn or hard to train, you may need our Indoor Wireless Pet Fence with Stubborn Dog
Receiver. The Stubborn Dog Receiver
has 5 levels of correction plus vibration in the warning area for an added
deterrent and a low battery light to let you know when to replace the
battery. Some breeds need the Stubborn Dog Receiver even though they may
not necessarily be hard to train. Our experience has been that Labs, Shepherds,
Akitas and similar breeds often need the Stubborn Dog Receiver. This is usually
due to these breeds being less sensitive to the correction due to thick skin
and/or thick fur.
We recommend our Indoor Wireless Pet Fence with Deluxe Ultralight Receiver for any dog or cat that is 5 pounds or
over. With 5 levels of programmable
correction and a low battery indicator light to let you know when to replace the
battery, this is our most versatile and advanced receiver. You can increase or
decrease the correction to meet your pet's training needs. At level 5, the
Deluxe Ultralight Receiver is strong enough for most hard to train
dogs.
We recommend our Indoor Wireless Pet
Fence with Standard
Ultralight Receiver for easy or average to train small to medium size
dogs 10 pounds or
over. The Standard Ultralight
Receiver has 1 correction level, similar to level
3 on our Deluxe Ultralight
Receiver.

Fence systems are all cross-compatible with each other. In other words, you may
for example feel free to use one of our Ultralight Receivers or one of our
Comfort Fit Receivers for one pet while using our Stubborn Dog Receiver for
another or any combination thereof regardless of which of our Pet Fence
systems you own with the exception of our Instant Fence Wireless Pet Fence
and Pet Containment System. Our Instant
Fence Receiver is not compatible with any of our other outdoor or
indoor Pet Fence systems.

you may return it within 45 days for a full refund of the purchase price less

excessive wear are not eligible for a refund. PetSafe has a Lifetime Warranty on
