The SportDog™ Field Trainers are an effective and affordable trainer with a 400 yard range featuring a 2.8 oz. receiver collar ideal for any dog over 8 pounds and at least 6 months of age or for sporting and hunting breeds. The SD-400 is for average-to-train dogs. These trainers are expandable and can be used to train 1, 2 or 3 dogs simultaneously. Extra collar receivers are needed.
The SportDog™ Field Trainers are ideal for training in the yard, field or for hunting with close-working dogs. Both the transmitter and receiver are waterproof and submersible.
The SportDog™ Field Trainers can be expanded to control up to 3 dogs by adding SportDog™ Brand Add-A-Dog collars.
The comfortable "soft coat" transmitter finish makes this unit a pleasure to handle. This is dog training gear the way you would design it. The low continuous stimulation levels and gradual increases between levels are particularly useful with sensitive dogs or breeds. You can customize your SportDog™ Field Trainer to match your training preference. It comes set up in MODE-1 (an 8-level continuous + 8-level momentary stimulation 1 dog collar with a non-stimulation tone button) but it can easily be changed into 7 different modes with different button configurations. This allows you to customize your transmitter to your training needs.
You are also able to transform your 1 dog system at any time into a 2 or 3 dog system using the "Add-A-Dog" feature. If you are dissatisfied with this product for any reason, you may return it within 45 days for a refund of your purchase price less shipping charge. SHIPPING AND HANDLING ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. Items displaying excessive wear are not eligible for a refund. PetSafe has a Lifetime Warranty on parts and one year on labor.
Any item being returned must be shipped back to the warehouse from which it was shipped. A Return Merchandise Authorization Number is required for all returns. Any merchandise returned without a Return Merchandise Authorization Number written on the outside of the package will be assessed a 10% fee by the warehouse so please do not ship any merchandise back for a refund without first obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization Number by contacting us by phone or email.
PetSafe guarantees all parts of this product for life against manufacturing or parts defects. Misuse or incorrect handling is not covered. If your unit cannot be repaired, PetSafe may replace it with new or reconditioned merchandise. There is a nominal labor charge for out of warranty products but all parts are free during the warranty period.
