When your dog barks, the sensor proble is triggered giving your dog a warning beep and mild correction. Then if he or she continues to bark, he or she will receive the warning tone with a slightly stronger correction. This process will continue up through 6 levels of correction. The collar senses the vibrations in your dog's throat that happen only during barking.

Static correction is a low level of electrical stimulation that can be adjusted to match your dog's temperament. When he associates this unwanted correction with his behavior, his uncontrolled barking will cease.

Our PetSafe Standard Bark Control Collar will stop your dog's barking the minute it’s placed on your dog. Our Standard Bark Collar senses the vibrations in your dog's throat that happen only during barking. This prevents false corrections from other dogs barking. This will stop your dog's barking. It automatically adjusts the level of Static Correction (6 levels) to your dog’s temperament. A Static Correction is administered through the contact points which touch your dog's neck when the sensor probe senses the vibration from the vocal cords. This collar is safe, humane and effective for all breeds and sizes of dogs, though it may be too large for dogs under 8 pounds to wear comfortably.

There are 2 key features of the Bark Control Collar. The first is a mild warning sensation triggered by your dog’s first bark. The second feature occurs when your dog barks again within 30 seconds of the first bark. This will be the first and lowest level of correction. There are a total of 6 levels of correction that are triggered by your dog’s successive barks. Each successive bark will increase the correction level if the bark is within 30 seconds of the previous bark. If your dog does not bark for at least 30 seconds, the receiver resets itself. Along with each correction there will be an audible beep. As a built-in safety feature, when your dog barks 15 times or more in a 50 second period, the collar will automatically shut off for a period of 3 minutes and then reset itself.

Important:
Before playing with your dog, remove the anti bark collar. The activity may cause your dog to bark, which could lead to him associating the play with the Static Correction.
